Why would you take off points? If she wants to work alone you should let
her. She will work twice as hard because she's alone. I'd give her a bonus!

Hi all. Hope you started the year off well. Here's the problem - I
require my grade 12 to do the project in pairs. Part of the rubric is
how well they worked together. There is an even number of students in
the class. One student is insisting on doing it alone. She said all
the "workers" are already paired up. How do I handle that? Let her or
not? Take off points or not?
