What will you learn at these events?

The seminar will address the question of validating the current
methodology in English literacy education.  How consistent is it with
twenty first century neuro-scientific research into the factors that
contribute to the emergence of the reading process?   Dr Solomon has
drawn her literacy model from her long experience as a teacher at all
levels, as a teacher educator and clinical psychologist. From her
studies of cognitive and neurological development and the English
language, her original approach demonstrates that an alternative
method for teaching reading is vital if all pupils are to become
literate in the English language.

You will learn that, beside the presenter's passion for preventing the
damaging psychological effects of literacy failure, there is a very
practical solution as explained by 'The Why and How of Reading for
Sure'.

You can find out how you can gain access to the same solution by
subscribing to membership of World Literacy International, entitling
you to seminar attendance (FREE ONLINE if you are unable to attend the
face to face event) and FREE access to the video library of
demonstrations of Reading for Sure in practice. It will also provide
you with the opportunity to access the teaching resources by
acquiring a user's license or to become a licensed provider of the
method.
