Subject: Becoming a teacher.

Hello,
I am looking for information on becoming an English teacher in Israel.
I met a teacher who told me I could send in some relevant information
and would be guided to which direction is best for me to take.
I grew up in Canada and completed a B.Sc in Biology there. When I
moved Israel I completed another degree, a B.Optm.
I am currently working as an optometrist and am happy in my profession
but am interested in making a change.
I have worked as a tutor in English and other subjects throughout the years.
I have never worked as an English teacher in a school setting.
I would like to what steps I need to take to teach English in Israel.
I would like to add that my interest is in teaching younger grades and
not in high schools.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
