Hi
My father was smuggled into the country on one of those planes. He was an
American boy from Brooklyn who was brought to Israel illegally by the Shomer
haTzair before we had a country. The plane landed in Kibbutz Dalia not far from
zichron yaacov. They took his American passport and used it to bring people
into the country. He got it back in 1948. You can see where his picture was
replaced many times.
