Hi Everyone,
Another chapter of the Books for Bedouin bookmobile.
Let me start with thanks to Karen, librarian from Bet Shemesh, who
donated cartons of English-language books to Bedouin schools in the
Negev. This is a great help and the books are much appreciated as is
the thought behind giving them.
Today I delivered the last pile of books to Abda Elementary School
which is situated nearby to the ancient City of Avdat. This is a small
and remote school, still in caravans.
The books made their journey from Bet Shemesh with the help of Sandy
Cash (Bet Shemesh to Kibbutz Tzora), Judi and Lynn Lewis (from Tzora
to Beer Sheva), and Faisal Sawalha, from Beersheva to ORT El
Hoashallah, ORT Abu Krinat and ORT Bir Hadaj.
