Subject: English language folk songs for singing in school

Hi Everyone,

I'm compiling a list of folk songs, that are suitable for singing in
school, from different English-language speaking countries. I'm not
lacking songs from the USA, Canada, England, Ireland and Scotland.

However, I am hard up finding "suitable" folk songs from Australia,
New Zealand, S. Africa, India and others...and there's quite of list.
"Suitable" refers to not too much local dialect making the English
hard to understand, or songs whose content is not "proper" for a
classroom. (murder, illicit love, etc.) I'm mostly looking for songs
for junior and senior high.

If any of you have suggestions, do SING OUT!
