Izzy and Etnians!
I'm not nearly as sophisticated as Izzy and the hidden connections
related to Shema had not occured to me (Thank you, Izzy!)
I just wanted to share a post I really enjoyed reading.

And if we're discussing a post by Anthony Gaughan, note something that
is both relevant to the great conference we just had and to teaching
English (naturally):

Here's a link to Chia Suan Chong's amazing summary of Gaughan's
presentation at IATEFL on
 The Se7en Deadly Sins of ELT
( I don't know how Chia does it, her summaries are incredible!).
She begins though with a tale of dealing with "bouncers" at the
conference, those who don't let you sit on the floor or stand in the
back! We've had to deal with crowded session but nobody stops us from
sitting on the floor!
