Bret Lott is the bestselling author of thirteen books, including the novel Dead Low Tide (2012), and the novel Jewel (1991), which was selected for Oprah’s Book Club in 1999. He has been a Fulbright Senior American Scholar and writer-in-residence at Bar-Ilan University, has spoken on Flannery O’Connor at the White House, and is a member of the National Council on the Arts.
