Subject: MiC - Hebrew U. High, Jerusalem - Branco Weiss, Ein Rafa, Day 2
Not long home in the Negev. A whirlwind MiC tour which I'll sum up soon.
But I do want to write a few last words on Day 2 of this
thought-provoking workshop. The kids worked very hard this morning and
into the early afternoon to complete their song, I think that the
musical dialogue spoke for itself loudly and clearly, as the pupils
expressed themselves through their lyrics and fusion of Eastern and
Western scales with a blend of Arabic, Hebrew and English rap to pull
it all together.
I hope this experience has opened the door to continued dialogue and
nurturing friendship.
