I hate to mention the word "form" on the list because of the recent remarks on how overloaded we are with filling in time-consuming forms...But for the last three years there has been a form to fill in to be reimbursed for recording and burning discs, giving oral tests, and providing extra time for students. (Irgun HaMorim worked very hard negotiating for this) However, you must have the initiative to fill in the form..go to the secretary, principal...and find out how you can fill in the form which in my school is filled in once a month. NO ONE is going to bring it to you. It is not a lot of money, but it is money that you earned. Also, you should not have to buy the discs-you can ask your students to each bring you in ten shekels so you can buy discs. If this is a problem, your school should be buying the discs. (Not to mention having the equipment to actually record and burn them)-The students are responsible for getting a disc player..I heard recently that Office Depot sells them (THEY must check it out in your area). If your school doesn't have the form for reimbursement, you should call the Irgun/Histadrut. BTW-if your school is in Oz, I believe that you can record the discs during some of the hours that you have to put in -instead of teaching a small group of kids. I don't know where Ofek fits in here?
