Subject: Robert Frost and "Count that Day Lost"
my students (12th grade, post-log) had to find a poem by frost that
they liked and write about it.
A few of them choose "Dust of Snow"

and they said that it was interesting how such a small thing (the crow
shaking snow down on the speaker) turned
the day into a good one, instead of a bad one.
we did NOT study "Count that Day Lost" - but i thought maybe someone
would like to use Frost's poem could be part of a HOTS unit on it.
(pre-reading? whatever ....)
