--------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Judy Freedman <judyfreedman@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: Scot connection? My dear soldier son who is somewhere on the Gaza front, was told he can relax in one of the periphery schools. On the wall of the staff room was a poster of old Scottish songs, and he thought that quaint and sent it to us (on whatsapp) in honour of his Scottish grandmother and uncles. Our family had a good laugh out of it, and I promised (threatened) to sing him the songs when he finally, please G-d, comes home. So if you are an English teacher in one of the places around Gaza, and you put up those Scottish songs for your pupils' benefit, know it was appreciated throughout the country and yes, back in Glasgow too. Keep safe, whoever you are Judy ************************************** ** Subscribe/Unsubscribe - http://www.freelists.org/list/etni ** Join ETNI on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/31737970668/ ** ETNI Blog and Poll http://ask-etni.blogspot.co.il/ ** Etni homepage - http://www.etni.org ** post to ETNI List - etni@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** help - ask@xxxxxxxx ***************************************
