Subject: Teaching English for psychometric exam

Shalom,
I am addressing this to teachers of English for the Israeli
psychometric exam. Basically, i would like to know how students are
taught/ practice English for this exam. I know the students are given
lists of vocabulary to study. I would like to know if the lists come
from reading passages and are presented in context  or are presented
in list form devoid of all context. If they are presented as lists,
are the lists done alphabetically (dictionary-like) or somehow context
bound (subjects). Additionally, is this vocabulary presented at any
point in reading passages or in short paragraph or sentences form?
Last, how is the vocabulary presented and practiced/ quizzed in the
preparatory psychometric classes?
I thank you in advance for any information that can be provided
Have a good w/e,
Karen
