Hi everyone! Good luck on getting back into the swing of things
tomorrow, G-d willing..... **sigh**
1- EFL colleagues in the south who have NOT yet signed up for Adele
Raemer's Tikshuv course beginning on Dec. 30th at Pisga Beer Sheva,
please do so! Believe me Adele is not only a big time 'maven' with
everything connected to computers; more importantly( for me at least,)
she is patient with enthusiastic novices like myself who get stuck and
ask the stupidest questions!!!! :) I am one of the 2 teachers who
utilize the smartboards more than others at our school because I adore
everything digital, but my abilities are still basic level....
2- I just heard from an old Canadian friend who's been singing and
entertaining at Bat Mitzva parties; etc. forever. She put out a disc
on the holidays that is appropriate for kids from 4th to 8th grade
classes. (She's also been tutoring EFL for over 20 years so she knows
what's what.) The disc costs 40 NIS and you can call her ( Barbara
Chakuk) for details at this number: 0779621621.
She is vivacious and has a beautiful singing voice; if I were giving a
'chug' in English or teaching lower grades like I used to, I'd
purchase it. Check it out!
