Have you used English Club (Fern Levitt) or Towards Reading in Special

If so could you please give me some feedback. I work as an adviser to
Special Ed classes in English
Which book did you use?
For what grade?
How did it go? (kids motivation, and achievement- were they reading )
Did you have to prepare a lot of supplemental work to meet the students needs?
What are things that teachers using this program should know?
