Shalom!
I seem to have sent this message to the wrong etni mail list, so I'll
try this one now.
There is both a Virtual and a Face to Face International Conference
going on in Spain called "VI Encuentro Internacional EducaRed 2011 -
Actitud 2.0: Aprender es Compartir", which as you may have guessed
means Attitude 2.0: Learning is Sharing.
I write in Spain, but being on the Net, it is everywhere.

The virtual part has started in both Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil
shares the burden of the prganization, I guess). Although it is aimed
at Spanish and Portuguese speaking teachers, there is room for
English... and for Israel. As a matter of fact, unless I am wrong
there is only one forum in English for teachers of English as a
Foreign Language.
I happen to be responsible for it, and am glad to be introducing what
I know we do in Israel. Among other things, I mean to show that we use
Web 2.0 tools here. There is a point in being practical and mot
theoretical, by which I mean we share what we do even when we make
mistakes.
I will be glad to share what you ETNIERS let me know you do (and use)
with your pupils, if you want to.
The forum started this morning and will run till October 10 (I have
made it clear that there won't be any activity on my part on Yom
Kippur, of course). I guess it will stay on beyond that date...
We teachers of English in Israel have stuff to share (not just on this
subject).
You may want to join the "conversation". It will all be in English.
Perhaps we could eventually run something similar on ETNI later on...
Let's see what happens here , though.
Thanks for your time.
