Announcing...the Southern Fried Jam!
Fri., Oct 28, 11 AM in Lahav Forest Picnic area
We'll be singing about "outlaws, highwaymen/women, bad guys/gals.."
Let your imagination wander down that path we haven't yet sung.
Bring your copies of Rise Up Singing! Bring instruments, polished
vocal chords and a picnic lunch. Meeting at the horse-shoe shaped
picnic table in the picnic area across the parking lot from the Joe
Alon Bedouin Heritage Museum. See the steps going down from the museum
parking lot. Don't forget blankets or folding chairs.
Directions from the north: Route 40 south to Lahav Junction. (not
Lahavim!) There's a new traffic light going up at the intersection!!
Turn left and drive east (more or less) till you reach the fork and the
wooden sign for the forest and Joe Alon Bedouin Museum. Take the right fork
and follow the road through the park, past the picnic grounds to the parking
lot by the museum. Look for us down the steps, across the parking lot from
the museum entrance.
Southerners, you know the way! See y'all there!
