Hi Laurie and all, Read the headline and article again. They are not getting rid of the Mikud, just publishing it at the beginning of the year. It means that they assume that everyone has always been "teaching to the test", now they will just have more time to do it. As a parent of high school students, eliminating the mikud altogether would save me hundreds of shekels a year.
