From: Janette Segal <janjon@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: RE: F lit Exam in Jerusalem We at Zvia school Herzlia also have chosen to do the exam. I sincerely hope for the sake of literature and objective and reliable testing that the log will soon be chopped. It is worth noting that all course papers and project work for the equivalent of the Bagrut in England have been dropped and replaced by exams. Why do we continue to fall behind in ideas that have long since failed in education? - One thing though is thrilling to read- so many teachers love teaching literature-Good Luck to us all! I for one prefer to have less choice and be spared that kind of pressure and meddling in our work from outside forces.
