For your information, I've done a bit of research here looking for
information on fees paid for making vocal recordings. See this for
starters.

(scroll down to read about fees) The site suggests that minimum fees
worldwide are about $100 per hour. It adds that 1 word could also cost
$25!
The site is very informative.
"Voice over" is not just "reading" but as you can find out here, or
already know, it's a craft and skill that requires training.
