BUT as for practicing with CDs.. All the new books ( 3 years ) now have their books / texts recorded on CDs which means the kids can use these for practice.. I am not even sure they still have cassettes. but anyways.. If the new exams were done on CDs ( which is already old technology but.. ) then we'd also have some exams to use for practice..AND again it is also possible now to record an exam by reading it on to a MP3/4 or on to the computer . Unfortunately , yet again ,, more work for the English teacher !! but what's new??!!! So again.. for those who want to try to make the change from cassettes/ tapes to new technology .. write to Rachela Shiffer/ Testing Dept. As of summer 2008, they can not have the reader, so they will have to use 2 tapes. >What Aviva wrote about (CDs or tapes) is also an issue, but I don't agree with her, because my school has no way of recording tests on CDs , so we would not be able to have the kids practice using CDs before the bagrut...) ----------------------------------------------- ** Etni homepage - www.etni.org ** ** for help - ask@xxxxxxxx ** ** to post to this list - etni@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** -----------------------------------------------
