Instruction for Masses Knocks Down Campus Walls
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/05/education/moocs-large-courses-open-to-all-topple-campus-walls.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all
Main changes
1. Money: It is now much cheaper to offer online classes to huge numbers of
students (note: that's one teacher, 10,000 students)
2. Interaction/community: Improved ability to provide interactive
exercises, some "personal" feedback (from humans), online forums which
create community, intelligent computerized agents which evaluate submitted
assignments

Challenges
- a college or a university is a "credentialing" body, but they must be
sure that it is YOU who did the work. Most of these courses get around this
"credentialing" issue by giving "graduates" a "certificate of completion"
rather than a degree.
