I have just been marking student essays. The topic was hometown - home
country. I was hoping for some interesting essays about weird and wonderful
places, since I have such a multicultural group. Yet, many wrote about
Jerusalem. Perhaps this was their choice because next Sunday is Jerusalem
Day.
