THANKs to all the people who have praised the ETNI conveners who invested so
much time and effort to make things a success.
Several issues have been raised and I hope to deal with them in furture
mailings.
My most urgent need right now is to announce that 208 SHEKEL WORTH OF BOOKS
WAS TAKEN FROM ME DURING MY presentation about teaching non-readers! in A2
hall, yesterday at 11:45. I have32 names of people who signed in. I'm sure
that those who took the books were latecomers who didn't hear me announce
not to take the books as well as being earlygoers who didn't hear me
announce not to take the books. Whatever, these are books I pay for and
sell to my college students, so in effect we are dealing with
theft.
And from me.
Rabbi Sinatra, in Bava Batra, may say "I do it my way," but anybody who is
walking around with unpaid for copies of "Key to Reading" is guilty of Ten
Commandments, number 8. What you're doing vis. #7 is not my affair.
(but it is yours, yuk yuk)
THOSE OF YOU WHO ATTENDED MY PRESENTATION,
PLEASE send me an e mail with your name and "It ain't me babe"
in the subject line.
If you accidentally took the book, let me know, so you can get
either the book or the cash to me.
If you noticed anybody suspicious at my presentation, possibly
wearing a false nose and moustache, let me know.
IF YOU didn't sign the list, send me a note with your name
for my files.
Please help me recover the books: Whoever stole a "Key to
Reading," they can use it to steal ALL YOUR READING!!!!
If this doesn't work, I'll have to take my list, get the phone numbers from
Marna, and start calling one by one.
Nobody wants that.
