Labor ministers slam Tamir over teachers' strike

Labor Party ministers on Thursday launched a harsh attack on Education
Minister Yuli Tamir over the severe crisis in the education system.
Infrastructure Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer slammed Tamir during a Labor
ministers meeting, accusing her of harming the party. "You have turned us
into the Treasury's pawns," he said. "This is not the way to conduct
negotiations."
According to Ben-Eliezer, Tamir is the one responsible for the deadlock in
the negotiations with the Middle and High School Teachers' Association,
causing damage to the party's image in the field of education.
