Respected Colleagues, I am curious to kmow if the problem with E and G is national or regional since this would reflect on the markers in the exchange areas rather than on the entire country. Moreover it reflects on the number of points allocated within a question especially ina 2 part question with 16 points or more since the first part must be correct in order for the second part to be accepted as correct. My school is in the Southern District and I've spoken with several colleagues at other schools nearby whose grades are similarly skewed to my schools. We had fails in both exams, whislt the same kids passed D and F! Also the grades for C were much lower than we anticipated. Good 4 pointers failed it. I must point out that there have been years like this in the past especially prior to a change in the national exams. Dena
