MakeBeliefsComix.com has released a free comiccreation app for iPads. 
The app allows users to tap into theirimaginations and create comic stories 
that can be shared via email or on anyother social media channel. It can be 
downloaded from iTunes at:

This Make Beliefs Comix app was developed fromthe popular web site, 
MakeBeliefsComix.com, now used by educators and families inmore than 180 
countries. The fun site was named a "Great Web Site forKids" by the American 
Library Association and selected by UNESCO andGoogle as among the world's top 
web sites to encourage literacy and reading. Inaddition to being an educational 
resource for literacy and English-As-SecondLanguage programs, Make Beliefs 
Comix can be used to help children with specialneeds, including those with 
Autism, communicate and understand concepts moreeasily.
In creating comic tales with theapp, users can select from 37 human and animal 
characters, each showing 4different emotions for a total of 148 character 
choices â there's even awerewolf, vampire and poodle girl to stir things up. 
Then, put words in themouths and thoughts in the heads of these fun characters 
as you fill in theirtalk and thought balloons. (Write in English, Spanish, 
French, Italian, German,Latin or Portuguese.) To enhance their stories, users 
also can choose which ofthe dozens of objects and scenes to add to the template 
panels where they placecharacters.
