Mentoring and Mentorship  for Teachers of English.
First Announcement:


I.   COURSE OF INITIAL TRAINING.  112 hours  plus Grade.
    Applications are welcome from experienced teachers to join the Fourth
Year-long Course  for Certification as a Mentor for Novice and Peer teachers
of English.

II.  COURSE OF ADVANCED TRAINING, RESEARCH AND   SUPPORT.           112
hours  plus Grade.
    Experienced  Mentors are invited to join the newly established course
for further Professional Development

    (Both of these courses are sponsored and supported by the    Ministry of
Education      Department of Teacher Education)

I. This unique course (112 hours with grade)  is open to teachers of all
education sectors and takes place in Jerusalem.  Meetings are held at the
Pedagogic Center every two weeks, with interim meetings held in schools,
colleges, or conducted as independent study groups.



II .  There will be monthly seminars, interspersed with independent study
group  meetings and occasional visits to  schools and colleges. Every
participant will conduct a research project based on their own practice.

Teachers who are presently acting as Mentors to student teachers are
encouraged to join one of these courses.  Meetings begin in late August.
