OK, I realise that this might sound a little heretical, but I do happen to think that Amotz Asa-El might just have a point. How many of us have actually read the Dovrat report? Like the rest of you, I took Ran Erez's word for it that it wasn't a good deal. Asa-El seems actually to have taken the time to sit down and read it. I know Amotz Asa-El and if it comes down to trusting his intelligence as opposed to that of the head of the Irgun, I think that Amotz may have the upper hand here. He is right in one respect; it is extremely hard to get teachers to agree to any reform. Could we have been shooting our mouths off for nothing? Shavua Tov David
