I'm sorry to ruin the vacation? but? Am I the only one who feels that the forms (LOTS and LOTS of different kinds of forms, graphic organizers, rubric tables and charts, mainly ministry ones, but also different internal school ones, different people within the same school, a variety of district/ professional inspectorate forms etc. etc. etc.) are overwhelming, repeating themselves only in different titles, but still require LOTS of working hours that I don't have in school, meaning that I can't stop feeling being drowned by them at home on weekends and vacations * FOR NO PAY* ! Helppppppppppppppppppp!!!! ENOUGH!!! I am only a 3rd year teacher and already feeling that the paperwork is taking all my time and energy and distracting me from what I love and came to do which is? to simply TEACH. It's a very big dissonance for me and I sometimes feel like Sisyphus. This year I will be attending an Ofek Hadash workshop. I understand that this is the crucial year when teachers quit?the third year. Having been in the system for the past 3 years I know why? No Ofek Hadash workshop meant to help us not to quit this profession is going to comfort me at this time. I have had ENOUGH! The only solution will be to stop this bureaucracy avalanche before I collapse!!! Hagit Lahav
