Hi Everyone!

Learning Vocabulary Can Be Fun
http://www.vocabulary.co.il
has been updated and expanded.

1. A new game has been added: Jumble
This new flash game takes your standard Jumble game and
goes a step further.

There are numerous topics, levels and timer settings for all ages.
The 73 topics range from animals to vegetables and astronomy to
world capitals.
Basketball, Disney Characters, Harry Potter and Star Trek
are among the newly added 'fun' topics.
The database contains thousands of words.
Each time a word is selected, it is scrambled differently.
Teachers will, also, find the 12-letter-words a challenge.

2. The Language Match Game - 8 new topics have been added
to this flash game.

These new 8 topics are: Clothing, Colors, Food, Games, House,
Human Body, Nature and Tools.
Pictures of the items are show on the screen.
You are able to hear the words spoken in English.
The game is geared to a young audience. However, older students
who are learning ESL [English-as-a-second-language] will, also,
benefit from hearing the words enunciated in the game's learning mode.

3. The Vocabulary Quiz - 5 new topics have been added to this Quiz game.

These 5 topics are: Emergency Measures, Fright Night, Personalities,
Public Affairs, Religion & Philosophy.
There are two levels for each topic.
The ever-expanding database is filled with questions, which are suitable
for grades 6 through 12, as well as for ESL students.

4. Interactive Crossword Puzzles - 10 new topics have been added to this
interactive game.

These 10 topics are: Air, Babies & Toddlers, City life, Country life,
Earth, Family life, Finances, Fire, Office and Water.
Each topic contains two playing levels.
All ages, in school and at home, will enjoy this fun game.

Please forward this message to relatives and/or friends,
who may be interested in these new educational resources.

I welcome your feedback.

Have a good day,
Jacob
