Dear all -
there are several updates in our website that I would like to attract
your attention to:
a new Wanted ad;
a new course discount offer;
updated Gmul Guide.
I know we are expected to refrain from making commercial advertisements.
However, there is something important that probably overrides this
requirement.
We have recently received approval for a new online course, Teaching
First-Year English with Phonics, designed by Miri Yochanna. We realize
that the audience that can benefit most from taking it are young and
less experienced teachers working mainly at elementary level. We are
also aware of the fact that they earn so little that they can hardly
afford to take our courses (even with the 60% discount that we offer to
teachers who are not on sabbatical and pay for themselves).
With this in mind, we've decided to grant additional discount to young
teachers: they will pay only half of our "regular" fee for this course.
I thought it was important to post this. I would be most grateful if you
veterans informed your young colleagues of this opportunity. The course
will start in September 2004. 56 hours, "gmul", etc.
