for a while i had a big bag on wheels that i put everything in, and dragged
from class to class.
problems with that - if i had to go up and down stairs. also - the wheels
broke because between buildings the pavement was not pavement. (often sand
or mud.)
better solution - color-code things. every class had a color. all the
papers were in a colored folder. the page in my yoman for that class was
marked with a colored tab, same color. if i needed the same worksheet for
different classes, i would make 2 copies of the answer key, one in each
folder.
AND - i would leave things in my cubby in the teachers room, or on my oz
desk. and go there between classes to get things for the next class. even
if there wasn't a break. it took only 1 or 2 minutes more, because
everything was well organized and i could see what i had to get.
