In Module A, students are allowed to bring in an Oxford White Dictionary (English-Hebrew/ Hebrew-English). Passport is a dictionary for jr. high and as such won't offer the vocabulary our students are likely to need. For Modules B and C, students must use the Black/Navy Oxford without the Hebrew-English. For those with electronic dictionaries, the discussion is moot. They have Hebrew access. My students, who are mostly dyslexic, find the Hebrew option less than helpful. When they wish to find the English way of saying 'I hope', one student wrote 'ritual bath' (mikveh). The specifications are available, but I don't have the link handy at the moment.
