Shomim Olam on Radio Upper Galilee is an eclectic program of folk/world/blues
and other music not generally heard on any other radio station in the Middle
East. It is available on

Coming from the diaspora, many of us remember with nostalgia the Christmas songs
and carols which surrounded us at Christmas time.
When I was growing up it was mainly carols, "Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer",
"White Christmas" etc.
Today, as well as the old standards there is a whole new crop of Christmas
songs, ( many of which are written & sung by Jews!)
In my "Christmas Special" I present such golden standards as "Good King
Wenceslas" sung by Loreena McKennitt , along side of new entertainments such as
"Jewish Kid Born on Christmas Day "by Sally Fingerett,
"Christmas on Mars" by Roy Zimmerman, and other gems from Christine Lavin's new
holiday album "Just One Angel"
