Hello to all! August 19, 2013
Thank you for all your help about suggestions for a diagnostic eighth grade
exam. The general consensus was to use a past Meitzav Eighth Grade test as
the assessment tool.

Does anyone know of a site or app like 'Shazzam,' that identifies a piece
of music by playing a phrase or two?

Shazzam is for popular music. But I have a classical melody and harmony
that has been going through my head for months. I can't identify where it
is from, though I 'see and hear' mostly strings--violins, violas, cellos
etc. (I thought it was from the Trout Quintet by Schubert, but I just
listened to the whole quintet and it's not there.

Does anyone have any ideas how to identify this? (I could hum it to
you.....)

Don't know where to turn! But I am constanlty coming back to this music.

Margie
