Greetings Jennifer and all,

One of the best, easiest, and free ways of making audio recording is to
download
Audacity from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/

Audacity will record in WAV format, as is. To record in mp3 format, you will
have to follow to directions to download a LAME file at
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&item=lame-mp3

Audacity has been mentioned before on ETNI and still seems to be one of the
best
ways to create audio files.

Happy Hanuka,

I want to record using the computer, but the program that comes up
gives me only 60 seconds. I expect someone out there knows a way of
doing long recordings, and I would be grateful if that someone could
share their knowledge with me.

Thanks.

Jennifer
