Hi Fruma,

I record and between paragraphs I keep quiet for a few seconds, that way I
can see where each paragraph ends.
Are you using audacity? If so...

1) You mark (highlight with mouse) what you want to save as a track. (e.g.
paragraph one)
2) Click on file - a window will open up
3) Click on "export selection as MP3" - a window will open
4) Give the track a name - e.g. 1
5) Another window opens - just click on OK
6) Delete your already saved first track and then do the same for the next
paragraph.

After a few CD's one becomes an expert!!! Good luck
Kerri

So this is what keeps me up at night-- recording tests. Maybe I finally
figured out how to record on the computer to make a disc but how do I make
tracks so that a student can relisten to only part of the test and not have
to go all the way back to the beginning?? PLEASE HELP!! thanks, Fruma
