dear carol,
as one of those who sent out a link for online learning (but NOT AT ALL
connected to the MOE, as i think most people know) ....
of course you can vent here. venting is good. and who will better
understand you than your fellow teachers? i think the whole idea of
online learning is good - but only as much as the kids are able to do. we,
too, don't have school and are running back and forth to shelters. (and i
just had to stop writing to go to the shelter. back now.)
sometimes - and with some kids - having something to study can calm them
down. of course, not all of them.
re the bagrut, i hope the MOE will be considerate of the lessons we missed
and the kids' lack of focus. just like last year we had a few more weeks to
finish the log. or after cast lead, all the relevant south
got extended time on the tests.
