*"Positively Israel" *
* Michael Ordman hightlights Israel's achievements in the fields of
medicine, science, technology, business, co-existence, humanitarian aid,
culture, entertainment, sports and building the Jewish State. He writes a
weekly positive Israel newsletter, that has over 2,500 subscribers. He
maintains a searchable database of over 10,000 articles. In addition,
Michael also write articles containing featured highlights about the Jewish
State which are published on-line in the Jerusalem Post and are syndicated
and cross-posted on many other websites and Facebook sites. *
* In the July 24, 2012 issue of the "San Diego Jewish World", Michael
was interviewed about his newsletter. In this article "he contended that
the worldwide media gives a false impression of Israel, focusing mainly on
the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians and paying scant attention
to the many positive contributions Israel makes towards a better world. He
said that he decided to stop complaining about it and to do something about
it. He created Good News from Israel, a websited devoted to rounding up
"good news" stories about Israel and making them available to anyone who
would like to have a clearer picture of Israel society." *
* Michael made Aliyah from London in 2007 where he worked as an
information Security Manager for a major International bank. He and his
family live in Netanya. *

* ** T.E.A.M. participates in community service projects. Through Naomi
Yeshayahou, the English Team of the Givat Brenner High School has reached
out to us. The seniors will be taking an oral bagrut exam in March, 2017.
In order to help them practice, they are looking for volunteers to come to
the school on Tuesday, February 28 from 10:00 - 12:00 or onWednesday, March
1, from 8:20 -10:00. You do not need to be an English teacher or have any
sort of experience or special skills to help the students. A question
sheet and a very short explanation will be provided of what is required.
Light refreshments will be available. *
* According to Naomi, the students are "respectful, and lovely young
people with promising army careers and exciting hobbies who are hoping to
speak English with a variety of people to mimic what will happen to them
