Dear Teachers, 5 people responded to this email below which I posted a few days ago. Thank you. There must be more than 5 teachers teaching new immigrants / olim who have something useful to share in the way of insights or materials. If you are one, please take a few minutes... Here is the link http://goo.gl/forms/TikybHQOsW Thanks, Jack Pillemer ------------------------------------------------- It is time to collaborate and share our collective knowledge on how best to teach English to new immigrants in Israel from Ethiopia, France, the former Soviet Union , Argentina and others. Please fill in this form and share the methods you use successfully, the useful learning strategies you teach to your students, the methods that work, the understandings you have come to. I'm looking for practical nuggets to share with others. Think of how you help students to improve any of the following: general organisation, reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, decoding, test-taking in general, preparation for Bagrut etc. I will take your successful tried-and-tested ideas, give you credit (unless you tell me otherwise), and share our collective knowledge with all of you and any others teaching immigrants.
