I agree with every word Noel and Ellen have written! The conference was
great, the venue was convenient and user-friendly! Well done all!
To all the "Roving Reporters" - please take the time tomorrow, while it is
still fresh in your mind, to post your reports to the conference site:
http://bit.ly/ETAIFlash. If you need my help, please feel free to call or
email me. (05479164698)

Any presenters who are willing to share their handouts and /or ppts, please
email them to me, stating which day and time they presented.

And for all those of you who missed it, go in and have a taste of the
great sessions you missed!

ETAI is a precious institution. A peer-based and run organization that is
priceless to us, and our profession. The yearly conferences help us keep up
to date with what is going on in the field of education , in general, and
in EFL specifically. Any teacher who respects his/her profession and
his/her professionalism, should strive to be a part of it and to contribute
what they can.

Personally, in addition to giving a session and participating in the Pecha
Keucha, I am excited to have begun something that is - I hope - a new
tradition: the conference website. Yes - it all took of my time. No - I did
not get paid for any of it. But the way I see it: what goes around, comes
around. I get as good as I give, so I try to give my best, when and as best
I can, and believe me - I get back in kind. Maybe not today, but globally -
it is what I believe. Call me naive, but it is what I believe - therefore,
it is what is true - self-fulfilling prophecies are all up to us.

It is an honor to be a member of ETAI. All English teachers need the
periodic updating, networking and regenerating that ETAI and the
conferences provide that. If you are a professional English teacher, and
you have not yet joined, I highly recommend you do so . And better sooner
than later - for you as well as your students!

And now - I am exhausted and going to bed! Wishing you all a wonderful
summer!

Adele
