The perfect musical for english students: 1776
I am producing 1776, the Broadway Musical telling the story of the
American Declaration of Independence. It is in English, with
translation. Aside from being extremely entertaining, as all who are
familiar with the show can tell you, it is highly educational.
Especially at election time, the themes of leadership and courage to
persevere are crucial.
Additionally, the theme of black slavery is treated powerfully. This has
significance as the first black president has been elected in America.
A lively classroom debate can easily result from seeing this show.
I will be happy to help arrange a group student rate to one of our
performances. The dates are below:
