[etni] West Side Story vs Leonardo Dicaprio

A change of thread, away from Module F but still with literature...
I want to introduce Romeo and Juliet to my 9th graders. Has anybody used the
Dicaprio version? Is it suitable for 9th grade consumption (ie no really
rude bits)? Alternatively, has anybody used West Side Story or compared the
two films, or scenes from them, in class?
If you have used either of the movies, I'd be interested to hear what you
did, how it went, lessons learned etc.
I don't want to use the Zeffirelli version as it's probably too dated for my
audience.
