Thanks very very much to all the wonderful people who took out their
copy of this book and answered me.

The reason for my question was NOT that i wanted to figure out how
much it would cost to photocopy! On the contrary, I ordered it last
week from UPP and received it yesterday. But I had a feeling that my
copy might have some pages missing from the end. After all, it's an
old book that has been sitting in the UPP warehouse for over 15 years!
(In the end, of course, my book does have all the pages.)

The question came up because the last chapter of the book , chapter
13, "Writing Assignments and Portfolio", has only ONE assignment -
Exercise I - that is about making sentences from unfamiliar words from
articles. This activity is from the first chapter. And the portfolio
has nothing about any of the other chapters. This seems sort of
strange to me.

Is this explaned in the Teacher's Book (that I don't have)? Does the
teacher's book have good ideas in it? Is it worthwhile buying it (if,
of course, UPP has a copy)?

  thanks again,
  sara g
