While our Ministry of Ed., in its infinite wisdom, keeps improving
Israeli education by firing teachers, making classes larger, cutting
hours and reducing the number of subjects taught, the world seems to be
oblivious of their progressive methods and keeps wasting money on - who
could imagine! - tying pay to performance, recruiting non-traditional
teachers, keeping good teachers, and improving teacher colleges.
