Hi all,

Things really heated up yesterday, regarding messages going through to
the list. There came a point where I was no longer sure whether people
meant their messages to go to the list, as a whole, or only to the
person they were replying to. As the nature of some of the emails was
quite harsh, I want to be sure of this fact before sending them
through to the list.

If you sent a message yesterday, that was meant for the list - and it
didn't go through - please resend it today, making clear that it is
meant for the list.

And please - in order to maintain the sanity of other Etniers -
especially those receiving the digest - do not include the whole
history of the correspondence in your reply to the list, but only the
relevant parts.

If your reply is meant only for the original sender of the message
that you are replying to - make sure to send it to that email address
only.

And for those of you receiving the digest - (this is for my own
personal sanity) - DO NOT include the whole digest in your reply to a
message. If you do so, your message WILL NOT go through. I will no
longer try to edit out  all of the excess text, etc., in such cases.
Life is just too short.
