[etni] an interesting question

I think this question will be of interest to teachers who don't get their
salaries from the Ministry, but who work for various other organizations
such as AMIT, Amal, Ort, etc.
Here's the story: The Min of Ed has a website where you are supposed to be
able to see your monthly salary statement, the status of your gmulim, Bagrut
statistics and other such information. You go to their website and sign up,
they send you a code and you are supposed to get access to this information.
I did all that, got my code and when I tried to check my gmulim, I was told
that I couldn't access this info because I am not registered as working this
year. I phoned the number given on the website and was told that only
teachers getting a salary from the Ministry are registered and could see
this information. I can understand that I might not be able to see a salary
statement, since that is issued by the organization I work for, but my
gmulim are listed at the Ministry, as is all the other relevant information.
When I asked the person on the other side of the phone line, he told me that
only the organization I work for could sign me up for access. Got in touch
with Amit headquarters, whom I work for, and they haven't the foggiest idea
of how to proceed, but sent me back to the Ministry. (Don't worry, I didn't
go that route as I have plenty else in life to do). Has anyone succeeded
where I am stuck? Maybe someone from the ORT network? If so, could you
help in any way?

Thanks,

Renee Wahl
