just wanted to share that i use parts of the movie pay it forward as
pre-reading for the poem. the idea was great, as was the glance the students
had into a 7th grade american classroom and another teacher always saying
"use your dictionary!" :-)) also liked the idea of this clip from TLC -
guster - bad bad world (on youtube).
(now if i could just get a room with a barco for all my lit. lessons!)
