I have been saying just that for years, Barry. People write great literature to entertain. They want the readers to be amused, or shocked, or thrilled, or delighted, or awed, or sad. They want their characters to live on, their stories to become etched in our minds. They are turning over in their graves as we use them to teach HOTS. Articles, on the other hand, particularly academic ones, are written to instruct, to impart, to convince, to enlighten. For them we really need the full set of HOTS, because we read them for our vocations and avocations, our exams and our professional development. Gandhi said, "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you...." for years I have been largely ignored. Start laughing people! ************************************** ** Subscribe/Unsubscribe - http://www.freelists.org/list/etni ** Join ETNI on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/31737970668/ ** ETNI Blog and Poll http://ask-etni.blogspot.co.il/ ** Etni homepage - http://www.etni.org ** post to ETNI List - etni@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** help - ask@xxxxxxxx ***************************************
